There are two units of National Cadet Corps (NCC) in the college. The boy and girl cadets get training according to the government rules.

NCC Boys(Infantry) has, since 2005-06 been changed into Combined Unit for boys and girls to promote the participation of girls. The total strength of the NCC( Infantry Unit) is now 65, with 10 seats for girls.

NCC for girls has two units:
Army Unit:- 20 girls
Naval Unit:- 33 girls

Cadets can appear for commission in the Army directly after clearing 'C' certificate examination of NCC. NCC students get extra weightage in interviews for Higher Education and jobs.

There are three units of NSS in the college. The volunteers are involved in social service. Their efforts are aimed at improving the lifestyles of the individuals in the adopted villages. NSS is actively involved in adopting movements like Blood Donation, Eye Donation, Adult Education and Social Awareness for HIV/AIDS, Drugs, Social Service and Social Development.
